Madimack InverTitan 112K vs 90K vs 140K: Which Model Do You Need?
The InverTitan series comes in three sizes. All share the same inverter technology, operating temperature range, and warranty. The difference is output capacity and pool size:
- InverTitan 112K (INVTIT112) — 112,000 BTU, for pools up to 25,000 gallons. This model.
- InverTitan 90K (INVTIT090) — 90,000 BTU, for pools up to 20,000 gallons.
- InverTitan 140K (INVTIT140) — 140,000 BTU, for pools up to approximately 35,000 gallons.
If your pool is between 20,000 and 25,000 gallons, the 112K is the right fit. Even for pools under 20,000 gallons, the 112K delivers 22,000+ more BTU of heating capacity, which can make a real difference in colder weather or for faster heat-up times. For pools over 25,000 gallons, consider the 140K.

The Madimack InverTITAN series comes in three sizes: the InverTITAN 90K BTU unit (for pools up to 20,000 gallons), this 112K BTU unit (for pools up to 25,000 gallons), and the InverTITAN 140K BTU unit (for larger pools up to approximately 35,000 gallons). If your pool is under 20K gallons, you may still want to consider this unit — it provides 22K+ more BTU in heating capacity. The InverTITAN series is much more efficient in colder temperatures than the InverECO series, and has a better price point than the InverELITE series. A high-quality heat and cool option for mid-sized pools.
