The Hayward ProGrid W3DE6020 is a 60 sq ft vertical grid diatomaceous earth pool filter for residential in-ground pools. The ProGrid's vertical grid design distributes the D.E. cake evenly across all grid surfaces. Seven full grids and one partial grid (each 30" in length) provide the 60 sq ft of total filter area. The one-piece flange clamp allows quick access to the grid assembly without disturbing plumbing connections. A 68.125" minimum vertical clearance is required at the equipment pad for grid removal during service.

Diatomaceous earth is a naturally occurring, mined material composed of fossilized diatom shells with an extremely porous silica structure.
