Hey folks, owner Lindsay checking in and wishing you all a fantastic 2026 pool season! We're getting excited about helping y'all make the most of this year, and I wanted to write down a few updates about what's keeping our team busy behind the scenes.

New Pool Heat Pump Features, Industry Changes, & Brand Updates

Here in the US and across the world, we are seeing governments push companies towards more efficient pool heating solutions...and you know what that means: pool heat pumps are more in demand than ever before, with millions of units projects to move between now and 2030. If you're thinking about a pool heat pump, this is a really excellent time to consider your options. These are some changes we're seeing across the industry:

• Inverter technology is the way of the future: think of inverter tech as an adjustable dial for your pool heat pump. Instead of just turning on (100%) or off (0%), your pool heat pump just got smarter. An inverter allows it to modulate its output based on ambient air and water temperatures. This is a far more efficient approach to pool heating, supporting precise, automated control of your swimming pool water temperature for way less electricity. It feels like a rare event to be able to point out a new feature that is genuinely better AND cheaper; inverter tech is that kind of unicorn!
• The people want WiFi control: ....and we are fully in support of giving the people what they want! A lot of newer models now have WiFi embedded in the unit itself, which means you can turn your pool heat pump on and monitor it remotely. 
• Goodbye to R-410A refrigerant: Starting this year, this refrigerant is being entirely phased out, which is great because we already have several newer refrigerants (like R32 in AquaCal heat pumps) that work better and are smoother/easier on your pool heat pump machinery. 
• Sky-high efficiency: better manufacturing processes + better materials = a race to infinity for CoP (coefficient of performance) energy efficiency values. We are seeing pool heat pumps with efficiency ratings through the roof. Again...all the better for your wallet! And we really love to see that!

FibroPool News

Our longtime friends and partners over at FibroPool are planning on some new releases this year, so keep an eye out for what comes next. FibroPool is based in the USA and they specialize in pool heat pumps that are designed for small to mid-sized residential pools. I always tell customers that their tech support is top tier, and I mean it! You really get that coveted family-run business kind of care from them if you ever need assistance with your FibroPool heater at any point in its lifespan. 

(Total aside...they sent our office a king cake in celebration of Mardi Gras this year. It's a good omen that one of us found the baby in the first bite!)

Patio Furniture is Coming!

You asked for it....so we're delivering...a couple big updates:

• We're massively expanding our Elementi line. As I write this, we have a few fire pits in stock. But we heard you all- you want more Elementi options, so we're stocking up on more fire tables, patio chairs, modern side tables, and more. Keep an eye out.
• We are SO excited to offer Backyard Xpo outdoor kitchens this year. Outdoor kitchens are kind of a must have if you are in a mild climate (hello, Florida friends). So, we've got some customizable options we're stocking, and we are more than thrilled to provide this fantastic brand to you all.

Glacier Pool Coolers Upgrades & Updates

We absolutely love working with Glacier Pool Coolers- their product is totally unique and insanely energy efficient. We get a lot of good feedback from former customers on how well their units work. 

Back in 2025, I paid a visit to their Scottsdale, AZ headquarters and grabbed a bite with one of the owners, Jake. Man, it was so nice to get out of the rain and into the warm desert sunshine!

He's been hard at work updating their offerings for the 2026 year. Some highlights...
